Colts travel to Foxborough to take on Patriots

Indianapolis and New England have had a great rivalry over the last twenty years. In the most recent years, some thought the rivalry was dead, but last year’s matchup proved that wasn’t the case.

With a ton of new players, and both teams near contender status last season, the two franchises showed that the rivalry was very much alive and delivered a great game.

In a Saturday night primetime game, the Colts hosted the Patriots and won 27-17 after an emphatic game-sealing touchdown run by Jonathan Taylor.

If the league learned anything, they would put this game in primetime once again. It’s the perfect candidate for a Sunday Night Football game.

Both teams have added players and are expected to be even better than last season.  The history of the rivalry is still there but the present, and future, are also as exciting.

Scheduled to meet in Foxborough, the world should be watching as the Patriots look to avenge last season’s loss, while the Colts work to prove they can dominate New England anywhere.

If Indianapolis had just one primetime game this coming season, it should be this one.
