4. Pierre Garcon, WR, Round 6, Pick 205, 2008 Draft

Drafted just one year before Collie was Pierre Garcon, from the Division 3 powerhouse Mount Union. It wasn’t immediate, but Garcon would ultimately show he belonged in the league.

By his second season, he was a starting receiver for the Colts and created a lethal group of pass-catchers with Wayne, Clark, and Collie.

During that sophomore year, Garcon caught 47 passes for 765 yards and four touchdowns, making several big plays for Indy.

He would improve each season, catching 67 passes for 784 yards and six touchdowns in his third year and 70 passes for 947 yards and six touchdowns in his fourth year.

That fourth season was Garcon’s final year in Indianapolis with the Colts. He had earned himself a big five-year contract with Washington, where he would go on and continue to improve and produce.

The best seasons of his career ultimately came with Washington but his time in Indianapolis was special. He helped give Peyton Manning a special group of receivers in his final years with the franchise.
