Colts would hate to see Titans select any of the top receivers

The Tennessee Titans are currently Indy’s biggest competition for a division championship. Tennessee has won it the last two seasons and is focused on making it three.

As the Colts look to close the gap, they would hate to see the Titans add another explosive weapon to the offense. However, with Tennessee picking at No. 26, it’s possible.

The Titans could go with an offensive lineman or a defensive player, but they also need a deeper wide receiver room, so a wideout isn’t out of the question.

Truly, it really doesn’t even matter which wideout, if Tennessee adds one of the receivers expected to go in the first round, they will have a nasty offense.

Derrick Henry is returning healthy, and AJ Brown will likely be around long-term, despite the current contract saga. Add in Robert Woods off an ACL, who Tennessee traded for, and that’s already a good offense.

If a speedster like Jameson Williams or Christian Watson is added or players like Chris Olave or Jahan Dotson end up with the Titans, the Colts’ promising defense is really going to be tested.

When Tennessee gets on the clock, Indianapolis will be hoping that the selection isn’t one that will stop the Colts from returning to the top of the AFC South.
