3. Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. – 2020 Draft

This No. 42 pick is one that the Colts have gotten to know well and will probably be seeing for a long time since he was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Shenault is a talented receiver from the University of Colorado and he is one of the many young pieces that are hoping to turn the Jaguars around.

So far, this is a selection that has been paying off for Jacksonville. In Shenault’s rookie season, he caught 58 passes for 600 yards and five touchdowns.

In year two, those numbers slightly improved to 63 receptions and 619 yards.

Now, with Trevor Lawrence, more surrounding talent, and a stable coaching staff, Shenault should be able to continue improving on his promising numbers.

The Colts will likely be selecting a receiver with the 42nd pick this year and they would be ecstatic to land someone that can offer Shenault’s production.

Michael Pittman Jr. was the only Indianapolis receiver last season with more than 400 receiving yards. The Colts would be lucky to add a rookie that can immediately contribute 600.
