Indianapolis Colts defensive back, Kenny Moore, may be attempting to lure some of his NFL peers to Indianapolis.

The new league year is almost upon us, starting March 16. That means free agency and trading are about to begin and several high-profile players will be in new locations.

The Indianapolis Colts, who have the most cap space in the NFL, are expected to be very active. They’ve already moved Carson Wentz to Washington and now they are nearly $70 million in cap space and have extra draft picks to make moves.

While there are a lot of directions Indy could go, Pro Bowl defensive back, Kenny Moore, appears to be outlining some possible moves for the Colts.

Moore reached out to Seattle Seahawks wide receiver, Tyler Lockett, and offered to take the veteran wideout to breakfast.

Is Kenny Moore telling Colts to go get Tyler Lockett?

Considering the timing of this friendly gesture, many assumed Moore was recruiting Lockett to join him in Indianapolis. Not just for breakfast, but as a teammate.

Seattle recently traded away Russell Wilson and released perennial All-Pro linebacker, Bobby Wagner. Those are two of the biggest players in Seahawks history.

Usually, when teams make moves like that they are fully entering rebuild mode. That often means letting veterans that still have something in the tank move on to competitive teams.

Lockett fits that description. At 29 years old, he has spent seven seasons with Seattle and has been extremely productive. He is coming off three-straight 1,000-yard seasons, including 1,175 last year.

He does, however, have four more seasons on his contract. If Seattle is willing to move Lockett to acquire more draft picks, the Colts would be a good destination.

Indy has a need at wide receiver and it has draft picks it could move to acquire Lockett. This would help improve Indianapolis’ pass game and provide more weapons to whoever is Indy’s next quarterback.

It would also allow Kenny Moore and Tyler Lockett to have breakfast more regularly throughout the season.
