Indianapolis Colts defensive back, Kenny Moore, comically reacted to the news of Russell Wilson being traded to the Denver Broncos.

The Indianapolis Colts’ quest to upgrade at the quarterback position was focused on two players, Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson. Both quarterbacks finalized plans on Tuesday that didn’t include Indy.

Rodgers decided to remain with the Green Bay Packers and the Seattle Seahawks traded Wilson to the Denver Broncos.

Many were hoping that one of these two would land with Indianapolis, so when that didn’t happen, there was some sadness amongst Colts fans.

Indy’s Pro Bowl defensive back, Kenny Moore, took to Twitter to lighten the mood, making a joke about how, in a way, fans are still witnessing what they hoped to see.

Playing on the names of the Colts and Broncos, Moore highlights that Russell Wilson did choose a team named after a horse, just not the one in Indy.

For the record, Moore never said that he was hoping for Wilson to join Indianapolis, he just thought the situation was humorous, he said in a tweet.

Moore engaged with many saddened Colts fans, expressing sentiments that everything will be fine in Indianapolis, while also trolling the individuals that were really hurt by the way things unfolded.

When a fan replied to one of Moore’s tweets with a GIF of Carson Wentz and the caption “he’s coming back”, Moore replied, “Let’s get it!!!!”

Moore also disagreed with fans who expressed the Colts won’t be able to win with Wentz or will be stuck in mediocrity for the coming years.

Ultimately, it appeared as if Moore just wanted to laugh and humor the fans that were ready to give up hope. From his various tweets, it’s safe to assume that Moore is just enjoying the journey and ready to take on whatever challenges comes the Colts’ way.

Whether that is with Carson Wentz or not, Kenny Moore knows that’s out of his control. He’s just preparing to do his part and bet on his guys.
