The Indianapolis Colts have a busy offseason ahead of them but letting some players go should be an easy decision.

The offseason is a time when franchises must make the necessary moves to get better. For the Indianapolis Colts, a lot of those moves will involve acquiring new talent.

While that is a necessary step for Indianapolis, another way to improve is letting certain guys go. Not every player is able to excel with any team.

Some players have come to the Colts and have underwhelmed during their time with the franchise. With Indy preparing to go to the next level, it will have to let some players go to sign others and continue to get better.

Let’s take a look at four Colts who don’t deserve another season with Indianapolis.

Isaac Rochell doesn’t deserve another season with Colts

Isaac Rochell signed with Indianapolis last season after spending the first four years of his career with the Los Angeles Chargers. He was brought in on a one-year deal in hopes that he could help Indy’s pass-rushing problem.

A season later, Rochell has played 12 games for the Colts, rotating in as a backup defensive end. In 2021, he only played 23% of Indy’s total defensive snaps.

In Rochell’s time on the field, he has 17 total tackles and three quarterback hits. He didn’t record any tackles for loss or sacks, and it appears that his time with Indianapolis will come to an end.

Rochell’s contract will expire once the new league year starts and his lack of production doesn’t give Indy much of a reason to re-sign him. It’s safe to assume he’ll be finding a new team this offseason.
