Colts can sign JuJu Smith-Schuster

Another receiver who makes a lot of sense for Indy is JuJu Smith-Schuster. Last offseason, Smith-Schuster dipped his feet into the free agency market, before ultimately deciding to return to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

JuJu passed up offers from other teams and decided to sign a one-year deal with the Steelers. Many believed this was so Smith-Schuster could post big numbers and re-enter the market with a better asking price.

However, Smith-Schuster injured his shoulder in Week 5 of the season and missed the rest of the regular season. He returned in time for the Steelers wild card game but will now enter free agency.

JuJu has yet to develop into the elite receiver many thought he would be in his first couple of seasons, but he still can be a productive top-two option on a team.

In 63 career games, Smith-Schuster has caught 323 passes for 3,855 yards and 26 touchdowns.

Indianapolis would certainly welcome JuJu on the Colts and he can be one of the team’s most productive targets in recent years. He won’t command a large contract so that makes him an even better fit for Indy.
