Colts can sign Michael Gallup

Dallas Cowboys receiver, Michael Gallup, is in a similar situation to Chris Godwin. Gallup tore his ACL in Week 17 and will enter free agency this offseason.

In Dallas, Gallup was the third receiver, deferring to Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb. Additionally, the Cowboys have many more star players on both sides of the ball and that can get pretty expensive.

As a result, Dallas may be forced to allow Gallup to walk into free agency this offseason. He may not be as coveted as he once was due to the late injury, but he will have plenty of suitors.

Gallup has flashed the talent that shows he can be more than a No. 3 receiver, so this is his opportunity to find a bigger role.

In his first four seasons in the league, all with the Cowboys, Gallup has played in 55 games and caught 193 passes for 2,902 yards and 15 touchdowns.

His best season came in 2019 when he caught 66 passes for 1,107 yards and six touchdowns.

That type of production opposite Michael Pittman Jr. is lacking for the Colts. Gallup is expected to make a full recovery and with his history of impressive catches and contributions as a receiver, he makes a lot of sense as a target for Indianapolis.
