Colts could sign Von Miller

An important aspect of the Colts defense that is going to propel them into absolute stardom is a veteran EDGE rusher. No more drafting a young guy that needs a few years to develop.

Von Miller brings his veteran leadership to a team that is already stacked with Darius Leonard and DeForest Buckner. Miller would add a strong presence to the D-Line that would help take double teams off of Buckner. The pass rush would end up being phenomenal in 2022 with the addition.

Coming into his 11th season in the NFL, Miller is still a productive asset that the Denver Broncos needed to offload for cap space. However, he may have fit under the current cap space for the Rams, they are paying a lot of players a lot of money.

Von is likely on the move this offseason no matter what the Rams do over the next three weeks. Could he end up on a team that is emerging as a talented, young team that needs a few pieces to win in the big moments?

Miller might be getting older, but the man can still play football. This would not be a setback for the line and would help mold whichever EDGE rusher the Colts decide to stick with this offseason.

It’s anticipated that he will sign a contract worth about $8.9 million per year over the next two years. This is a cheaper option to add such a dynamic player that brings more than just a veteran presence on the defense.

The Colts would be making a mistake if they are pushing their chips in to win a Super Bowl and they don’t go after Miller.
