Colts have the best rushing attack in football

The other thing that no team does better than Indianapolis is run the football. All season, Jonathan Taylor and the offensive line has proven that they can run the ball on anyone.

Taylor’s 1,734  rushing yards and 18 touchdowns have often led to Indy winning games. In fact, the Colts are an impressive 9-1 when Taylor goes for more than 100 yards. The only loss came in Week 17, when Indy fell to the Las Vegas Raiders on a last-second field goal.

Deep into the playoffs, when the weather starts to get brutal and teams want to control the clock, the game can often come down to which team has the better rushing attack. If any game Indianapolis is in comes down to which team can run the ball better, just give Indy the W.

The run game is the bread and butter of this offense, Indy goes as the rushing attack goes. The Colts must force teams to take this strength away from them. If teams are unable to stop Jonathan Taylor, Indy could run its way to a Super Bowl.

These three strengths are the foundation of this Indianapolis team. The playoff run will likely come down to how well Indy can execute its strengths. If the Colts can pull out some new formula and win games, that would also be great, but now is not the time to experiment.
