Dolphins could prevent Colts from making playoffs

The Miami Dolphins are currently in the 13th spot of the AFC playoff picture but they are just 6-7 and have been quietly making a strong push.

Not long ago, Miami was 1-7 and many were ready to start projecting top draft picks to South Beach. Since that point, the franchise has put all the surrounding questions on hold and have won five straight games.

The five wins were against the Texans, Ravens, Jets, Panthers and Giants. Many will look at that stretch and say no wonder they are on a winning streak, because aside from the Ravens, it’s a lot of struggling franchises.

While that is true, the Dolphins schedule doesn’t get any tougher over the final four games of the season. They close the year out with the Jets, Saints, Titans and Patriots. Aside from New England, it’s a great chance Miami can win all those games.

The Saints have been struggling to keep it together as they’ve battled injuries all year and Tennessee has also been up and down as of late while they’ve faced their own health challenges. The Jets are just the Jets.

This means a 3-1 finish isn’t out of reach for the Dolphins and that will put their final regular season record at 9-8.
