Colts should give WR Ashton Dulin more snaps

This Indianapolis offense runs through Jonathan Taylor, there’s no doubt about that. However, on the outside, Michael Pittman Jr. has been having a breakout season, and more recently, Ashton Dulin has been coming into his own.

The third-year receiver is currently putting together the best stretch of games in his young career. In Indy’s last five games, Dulin has a 100% catch-percentage with five catches for 80 yards and two touchdowns.

One of the touchdowns was a deep ball, and the other was a short throw across the back of the end zone, so Dulin has been able to contribute in various ways, and he’s barely scratching the surface of the type of impact he can have.

Dulin has only played 27% of the offensive snaps this season, but he is proving to be really efficient with serious speed and sure hands. He can be a secret weapon for this offense down the stretch of the season.

With Taylor commanding much of the attention, and Pittman and TY Hilton being the defense’s main focus in the passing game, Dulin can become a serious big-play threat if given more opportunity.
