Fourth-best Colts moment so far: Michael Pittman’s foreshadowing snag

No. 4 on the list is Michael Pittman Jr. mossing the entire Tennessee Titans secondary. While this is the only moment on the list from a loss, it still was a big moment.

For starters, the catch was incredible, and it was in a gotta-have-it situation. It was third-and-16, in the fourth quarter, with less than a minute left, trailing a division rival by a touchdown.

Wentz was moving all around the pocket and nearly got sacked, as it was clear he had nowhere to go with the football. He eventually broke contain, rolled to his right, and just threw up a prayer to the middle of the field.

Pittman made the rest happen and completed a spectacular play.

This third-down conversion did lead to an Indianapolis touchdown, tying the game before the Colts eventually lost in overtime.

While this moment would have been even better if Indy pulled out the win, it was still pretty great. Not only did it force overtime, but it showed that Pittman was a serious threat at wide receiver.

This play highlights what has been a breakout season for the second-year receiver. Through 13 games, he already has the most receiving yards by an Indianapolis receiver since 2018 and is on pace to break the 1,000-yard mark.
