Colts and Titans Week 15 opponents

In Week 15, Indianapolis reignites an old rivalry in a Saturday night primetime game against the hottest team in the NFL, the New England Patriots. As well as the Patriots have been playing, the simple truth is Indy has to win if they want to keep their division hopes alive.

The Colts have shown that they are capable of competing with any team in the NFL. Coming off the bye, expect Indy to be rejuvenated and for them to play their best game, not only competing but finishing and beating New England. A Week 15 win will move Indy to 8-6.

The Titans will face the Steelers in Week 15, and Pittsburgh is one of the most unpredictable teams in the NFL. The Steelers find a way to play a close game nearly every week, and just recently outlasted the Ravens. Considering the current health of Tennessee and Pittsburgh, it’s fair to assume the Steelers can come out on top in a close matchup, moving the Titans to 9-5 entering Week 16.

Colts and Titans Week 16 opponents

In Week 16, Indy plays the Arizona Cardinals, and simply put, it will be their hardest challenge of the year. Arizona has been the best team in the NFL and they rarely lose.

Indianapolis’ path to victory may just be that they simply need the win more. This game will be played on Christmas evening, so it’s very reasonable to expect that a favorite, who is a lock for the playoffs, won’t be fully motivated. The underdog Colts, who will be fighting for their postseason lives, can go into the desert and pull off a Christmas miracle to improve to 9-6.

Meanwhile, the Titans will be facing the 49ers. San Francisco has won four of their last six games and have shown signs of being the team many expected to contend entering the season. Their momentum, plus Tennessee’s decline and lack of health, could equate to the Titans dropping another game. That would be best for Indianapolis, as it would move Tennessee to 9-6 and make the last two weeks really interesting for the division.
