2. Colts players trending up: Rock Ya-Sin

The improvement of Rock Ya-Sin is something Indianapolis fans have been awaiting for three seasons, and it finally seems like he’s making those strides in the right direction.

In the Colts’ last three games, Ya-Sin was targeted 10 times and only allowed three catches for 21 yards and one touchdown. That’s the best three-game stretch of Ya-Sin’s career.

Not only is Ya-Sin doing a good job of covering, but he is doing a much better job of covering legally. In his first two years, Ya-Sin was flagged routinely for some sort of pass-coverage penalty— 14 times total. In Year 3, he has resisted the urge to get his hands on receivers, only being flagged twice for pass interference in nine games.

Ya-Sin absolutely needs to continue playing quality and mistake-free coverage. The Colts secondary has had their struggles throughout this season, so if Ya-Sin can be a reliable corner for them, that would help the team a ton.
