The NFL is heading into the final full month of regular season play so let’s look at which Colts players are trending up.

After the first month of the NFL season, the Indianapolis Colts were sitting at 1-4 and morale was really low. Since that point, Indianapolis has won five of seven games and the team enters the final month of the season at 6-6.

The resurgence was due to the power rushing of Jonathan Taylor and the offensive line as well as the defense’s ability to force turnovers, led by none other than Darius Leonard.

Additionally, the Colts have been fortunate to experience several standout performances week-to-week from various players. As the season progressed, so did Indianapolis’ players, and that’s why the team was able to battle out of the 1-4 hole.

Now, with five games left and a playoff spot in reach, Indy will need a number of players to be on top of their games, as every remaining game is crucial. Fortunately, plenty of ascendent players are still moving in the right direction, so let’s take a look at three players who are trending up heading into the final month.

3. Colts players trending up: Ashton Dulin

When Parris Campbell went down for Indianapolis, it was clear a younger receiver on the roster would have to step up. It took some time, but it appears as if third-year receiver Ashton Dulin is trending towards becoming a consistent contributor.

The month of November was Dulin’s best month of his young career, as he finished with four targets for four catches, 101 yards, and one touchdown. While that isn’t necessarily a lot for four games, that’s the most consistent stretch in Dulin’s three years.

His touchdown against the Buccaneers showed off the speed and big-play ability he can provide this offense with. As teams load the box to try and contain Jonathan Taylor, Dulin can become a real weapon for Indianapolis on the outside.

It’ll serve the team well if he builds off this past month heading into the home stretch of the regular season.
