1. Colts should pursue WR Chris Godwin

Chris Godwin is the second receiver and the second Buccaneer on this list, and a lot of the reasons Indianapolis should pursue him overlap.

The Colts have a need for a top receiver. Hilton who was the team’s No. 1 receiver for the better part of the last decade is possibly on his way out the door. Parris Campbell’s inability to stay healthy also brings his future with the team into question.

Just like his teammate Carlton Davis, Godwin would probably prefer to remain in Tampa Bay. After finishing this year playing on the franchise tag, Godwin will be seeking a multi-year top receiver contract, and it’s no guarantee the Buccaneers will be able to offer him that.

The Colts, however, will be able to. They have the cap space for it, and the need to spend the money. If Godwin can’t work out a deal to remain in Tampa Bay, the Colts should do everything possible to get him in true blue and white.
