3. Colts should pursue WR Allen Robinson

Allen Robinson has proven himself as a No. 1 receiver in the NFL, and he has done it in places with an unstable quarterback position, Jacksonville and Chicago. Despite the lack of a consistent quarterback, Robinson led the NFL in receiving in 2015.

Robinson is currently playing on the franchise tag with the Chicago Bears and is set to hit the market in free agency. Surely he will want to be paid for his production, and for a receiver of his caliber, that’s around $18 million.

It’s also fair to assume that Robinson wants a stable environment where he could compete; Indianapolis can offer him that. The Colts have Wentz secured and, for the most part, he looks like an improved quarterback. They’ll also be in the market for a receiver, as TY Hilton will be a free agent and has even expressed that he has considered retirement.

Robinson would be able to join a room with the emerging Michael Pittman Jr. and pair a nice passing attack with the Colts already elite run game.
