1. Colts vs. Bills matchup to watch: Jonathan Taylor vs Buffalo’s elite run defense

While Indianapolis’ season has been mediocre thus far, the emergence of Jonathan Taylor has been great. Taylor enters Week 11 as the league’s best running back, with the most rushing yards this season. In addition to Taylor, the Colt’s offensive line has been tremendous in opening lanes for him to break off long runs.

They will face their stiffest test this Sunday when they go against the Bills’ No. 1 ranked defense. The Bills only allow opponents 15 points a game and 274.1 yards. On the ground, they give up just 83.9 yards a game.

This spells trouble for Indianapolis, who only wins in games that Taylor rushes for over 100 yards…literally. They’re 5-0 in those cases and 0-5 when the opposite occurs. This is the epitome of a “strength on strength” matchup. If the Colts want to win this game, the offensive line and Jonathan Taylor are going to have to prove that they can run the football no matter what defense is lined up across from them.

In the end, this will be a game between two teams hungry for a win, and these three matchups will be a huge part in determining the outcome. These two defenses are responsible for the most takeaways in the league, and with the game in Orchard Park, NY, where it’s expected to be a wintry mix on Sunday, anything can unfold.
