The Indianapolis Colts recorded their second consecutive win on Sunday, but it wasn’t pretty.

Following Sunday’s game, the Indianapolis Colts are 5-5 after defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars, and that’s what matters most. But now that the win has settled, it’s fair to say that it was a bit of an ugly performance.

The Jaguars were coming off a monumental victory, having upset the Buffalo Bills the week prior, but they still are one of the worst teams in the NFL. The Colts were expected to win comfortably but instead, it came down to the last possession and Indianapolis escaped, winning 23-17.

A game like the one on Sunday gave fans much to think about. Performances like the one Jonathan Taylor had left fans excited, but the repeatedly stalling offense created disappointment. In total, it was a game that the Colts were lucky to win while also emerging with many things to work on.

They will have to improve quickly and apply these lessons as they prepare for the Buffalo Bills. Although Buffalo lost to Jacksonville, they are a far better team. If the Colts play as poorly in Buffalo as they did against the Jaguars, they will lose.

It would have been great if Indianapolis learned from the Jaguars what they did to upset the Bills, but that’s unlikely. Instead, the Colts will have to watch the film of Sunday’s game to see what they did well against Jacksonville and what they didn’t succeed at. Let’s take a look at the best and worst thing from Sunday’s victory over the Jaguars.
