The Indianapolis Colts will look to rebound from one of their worst losses in recent memory.

A lot went wrong for the Colts against the Titans, but it’s tough to point the finger at anybody but Carson Wentz, who was incredibly reckless and inaccurate with the football, and Frank Reich, who dialed up 51 pass plays, made a handful of questionable play calls, and only gave Jonathan Taylor 16 carries.

The good news for the Colts is that they’ll get the chance to avenge that loss with a quick turnaround on Thursday Night Football against the New York Jets, who, despite their upset win over Cincinnati, are still a lousy team.

Will the Colts give the Lucas Oil Stadium something to cheer about? Or will the Robert Saleh-led Jets piggyback off their improbable win and pull off their second straight upset? Let’s take a look at the betting preview for TNF.

Colts vs Jets Odds Week 9

According to our friends at WynnBET, the Colts are 10.5-point home favorites. They have -105 odds to cover that monster line (bet $105 to win $100). On the moneyline, the Colts, as you would expect, are colossal favorites, checking in at -600 to win outright, so bet $600 to win $100.

The over/under for Thursday night is set at 46.5 points, with the over sitting at -105 and the under clocking in at -115.

Colts vs Jets Prediction Week 9

If we were forced to predict this game two weeks ago, we would’ve picked the Colts to win by at least two touchdowns. After Week 8, however, we don’t have that same confidence. While we still like Indianapolis to hold serve at home, the Jets looked like a completely different squad with Mike White filling in for the injured Zach Wilson.

In his first career NFL start on Sunday, White finished 37-of-45 for 405 yards (!) and three touchdowns to two interceptions. The Jets’ locker room has really rallied behind the former fifth-round pick and they have a ton of confidence with the chance to play in primetime on Thursday night.

Having said that, the only way the Colts don’t win this game is if Wentz doesn’t protect the football. Look to see a lot more Taylor than we’ve grown accustomed to this season, as the Jets rank 18th against the run this season.

We expect New York to keep it close, but Indy is more talented and needs a win to keep their dwindling playoff hopes alive.

Colts 31, Jets 24.
