The Indianapolis Colts looked completely dead after losing their first three games of the season, including a Week 3 matchup against Ryan Tannehill and the rival Tennessee Titans, but Frank Reich and Carson Wentz have managed to get this team reoriented and turned in the right direction.

The Colts have won three of their last four games, including a primetime victory against Jimmy Garoppolo and the 49ers. That hot streak has pushed them right back into the thick of the AFC South hunt. Tennessee, however, is a different beast.

The Titans may have lost to the Jets earlier in the season, but they are fresh off wins against Josh Allen’s Bills and Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs, proving that, despite some struggles on defense, Tannehill and Derrick Henry are good enough to take on any team in this conference.

Will the Colts snag a victory and move to 4-4, or will Tennessee put them in their place on the back of a balanced offensive attack?

With Quenton Nelson back in the fold, Colts fans might want to watch the status of second-round rookie Dayo Odeyingbo, who is close to making his NFL debut.

Colts vs Titans Odds Week 8

According to our friends at WynnBet, the Titans are slightly favored at -120 on the money line (bet $120 to win $100), while the Colts come in at an even +100 (bet $100 to win $100). With Tennessee on the road in the dome and Indy as hot as they’ve ever been, Vegas thinks this game is too close to call.

If you prefer to bet the spread, Indianapolis has -110 odds to cover the +1 difference and the Titans are -110 with the -1 advantage. The over/under for Sunday’s game is set at 49 for what should be a fun matchup between Wentz and Tannehill.

Colts vs Titans Prediction Week 8

Indy’s defense has been very disappointing this season, and they likely won’t be in for another get-right game against AJ Brown and Julio Jones, to say nothing of Henry churning out yards. This could get ugly if Tennessee starts fast and gets points early.

While Wentz should be in for a very productive day throwing the ball, the Titans were able to lock down Mahomes, of all people, last week, so they could easily deploy the same defensive approach in this game.

The Colts just don’t have the horses (no pun intended) on defense to both prevent Brown and Jones from breaking out and keep Henry in check. Unless Wentz and the offense go crazy, Tennessee might snatch another win.
