David Culley kept offensive coordinator Tim Kelly on his staff, and while the offense hasn’t been as good as it was with Deshaun Watson under center, the passing game hasn’t gone down the tubes despite injuries at quarterback. Cooks at wide receiver is a big reason as to why.

While he’s mostly known for getting traded from contender to contender over the last half-decade, he’s found a home in Houston, and he’s totaled just under 400 yards in five games this season. Considering some of the competition and the revolving door at quarterback, that’s a big accomplishment.

Brandin Cooks could exploit the Colts’ defense.

Make no mistake, this secondary is absolutely brutal, and they were proven as such when the likes of Marquise Brown and Devin Duvernay were absolutely having their way with them. Cooks should be in for a big day, assuming Mills plays more like he did against New England than he did against Buffalo.

Even in that Buffalo game, Cooks was one of the few Texans skill players to have a respectable day (five catches, 47 yards), so even in times of crisis, they will force-feed him some targets. Unless Matt Eberlus completely switches things up, Cooks should run wild on this defense.
