The Indianapolis Colts are ready to start the season off on the right track, as Frank Reich and Carson Wentz appear to be all geared up to make a run at the AFC South crown. However, they will start off their campaign to the top with a very tough task in Week 1.
Indianapolis will have their defense stretched to breaking point in their debut, as they will have to take on Russell Wilson, DK Metcalf, and a Seattle Seahawks team once again set on a deep playoff run.
Indianapolis might not be at full strength, and they have 16 games to go after Week 1, but considering the tough schedule at the beginning of the year and competition from the rival Titans within the division, a fast start will be paramount to their success this year.
Will the Colts take down Wilson and a Seahawks team that could feast on an ill-equipped Indianapolis defensive backfield? Or will Wentz look like the MVP we saw years ago in Philadelphia and get the squad off to a 1-0 start?

The following players have been ruled out for today’s game against Seattle:
- T Eric Fisher (Achilles)
- CB Xavier Rhodes (calf)
- DE Kemoko Turay (groin)

Wentz is available to make his Colts debut, but Rhodes has been ruled out with a calf injury. Turay also won’t suit up against a weak Seattle offensive line.
Quenton Nelson Injury Update
Per ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, Nelson is fully ready to go against Seattle despite his foot ailment. However, backup Danny Pinter is still questionable.

Wentz no setbacks with foot this week. Nelson was questionable, more for back issues than foot, but he was good Friday, no issues today and cleared to start.
