2. Richard Sherman

The aging defensive back isn’t as dominant as he once was with the Legion of Boom, but has managed to revive his career in San Francisco. Though last year the veteran took a few steps back and missed a majority of the season with an injury, he’s still a wily cornerback with elite instincts. Sherman isn’t a man coverage corner, which is perfect for Eberflus’ zone-heavy system. The Colts could use another veteran voice in the secondary as they look to develop a number of young corners as well.

Offseason legal troubles could affect him from a playing standpoint in 2021, but maybe the Colts capitalizing here and giving Sherman a shot could help them be viewed favorably given his struggles with mental health. Everyone deserves a second chance.

Why not Sherman? He’s one of the best defensive backs of this generation and could provide help on a loaded Colts defense that will now be relied on more than ever with Carson Wentz expected to miss up to two months.
