While it remains to be seen whether Carson Wentz will ascend back to the top-tier quarterback he was prior to last season, what can’t be questioned is the impact he’s had in both the Colts’ locker room and local community this offseason.

A proud man of faith, Wentz has established a reputation as one of the most charitable players the NFL has to offer. On top of creating the “Carson Wentz AO1 Foundation,” it seems he’s always popping up in the news cycle after a random act of kindness.

Nothing proves this more than Wentz’s relationship with Eagles superfan Giovanni Hamilton, who’s battling a rare condition called Schwartz-Jampel syndrome, for which he’s undergone a dozen surgeries at the young age of 13.

Wentz surprised Hamilton on a video chat after he was traded to the Colts, and even gifted him a signed jersey. On top of that, Wentz plans to give Hamilton and his family an all-expenses paid trip to Lucas Oil Stadium for a Colts game in 2021, adding an AFC team to his repetoire.

As it turns out, Hamilton is starting to make friends with other members of the Colts’ roster, too. The young fan penned a tweet this week while donning a Kenny Moore jersey, and Moore’s response to the post is guaranteed to make your heart melt.

Colts fans will love Kenny Moore’s new friendship with Giovanni Hamilton.

How can you not love this? Hamilton is obviously as tough as they come given everything he’s dealing with as a result of his condition, and to see him receive unconditional support from Wentz and now Moore is just as good as it gets.

Thanks to Moore, Hamilton now has the motivation to get up and move around, which is quite the challenge for him.

The 13-year-old is battling permanent muscle stiffness (myotonia), so you can only imagine how much Moore’s response meant to him.

As far as taste in players goes, Hamilton’s is spot on.

Not only was Moore listed as the No. 1 slot cornerback by Pro Football Focus in their offseason rankings, but he’s coming off a season in which he finished fourth on the Colts in tackles (80), and first in both interceptions (four) and passes defended (13).

We hate to pin teammates against each other, but if Moore and Hamilton’s relationship continues to grow, the latter might have a difficult decision to make in regard to what Colts jersey he’s going to wear to the game he attends next season.
