Kwity Paye’s story is amazing, and it got better on Thursday night when the Indianapolis Colts selected him in the first round of the NFL Draft.
If you don’t know Indianapolis Colts defensive end Kwity Paye’s story, then you’re missing out.
Paye’s mother escaped the civil war in Liberia and gave birth to Kwity in a refugee camp in Guinea. When he was just a baby, she moved the family to the United States.
He began playing football, he got really good at football, and he earned a football scholarship to Michigan.
He kept getting better, and the Indianapolis Colts selected him with the 21st overall pick in the NFL Draft. Paye was shown in the green room draped in an American flag and telling his mother she’ll never need to work again.
