Round 4: Shakur Brown, CB, Michigan State

The Colts could be down a few cornerbacks once the free agency dust settles. Still, they should be looking to draft one even if they manage to retain a player like Xavier Rhodes. While a player like Brown is a little on the smaller side, he picked off five passes last season and continued to show that he’s a willing run defender.

The Colts could use Brown’s ball skills.

Brown will need some fine-tuning as a cornerback that struggled in zone coverage, because going to a team that runs a lot of zone could make his rookie year a bit challenging. However, the Colts need someone that can lower his pads as a tackler and force turnovers, and that could make him successful in Indianapolis.
