4. Carson Wentz

The Eagles seemed to have change their opinion on Carson Wentz.

For a while there, it looked as though the Colts were destined to reunite Carson Wentz with former offensive coordinator Frank Reich, who is widely said to be responsible for his ascension to one of the best players at his position early on his career.

However, that all changed when the Eagles decided to fire Pederson after he made it clear to the front office that he was tired of being the fall guy for their rash decisions, which included actively tanking their Week 17 game against Washington in the name of improving their draft position.

The latest reports out of Philly suggest that Wentz holds a future with the franchise and that he could end up being the starter for next season when all is said and done. If not for the coaching change, the former No. 2 overall pick would certainly be higher on this list, but at this point it would be shocking if he demanded a trade with Pederson no longer at the helm.
