Larry Warford was recently released by the Saints and is now in the position of joining a new team. The guard has had the best years of his career in New Orleans, making the Pro Bowl in all three seasons with the team. It was a surprising move to see Warford, one of the best offensive linemen the team has, gone in what could be one of Drew Brees’ last seasons.

The Colts could use Warford. Though Mark Glowinski has been a solid player on the offensive line over the last couple of years, adding Warford to the fold would add the last bit of glue to this brick wall of an offensive line.

With Anthony Costanzo also set to mull retirement after this next season, having the best amount of talent on the line will aid in minimizing the blow if he decides to step away from the game.

Warford played 91% of all offensive snaps last year in his 15 games and only committed 4 penalties. It was statistically the worst season of his Saints career, but he still had a great season. He’d be a great addition alongside Ryan Kelly and Quenton Nelson as one of the league’s best offensive lines.
