The NFL Draft is well into the rearview mirror, and the biggest news is how the rosters will shake up around the league as next season nears. We’ll look at 3 players on the Colts that are on the chopping block for the 2020 season.

The Colts have completed one of the biggest offseason overhauls in franchise history, bringing in multiple marquee free agents to plug up the major holes in the roster. In addition, the front office grabbed several players out of the draft who will have an immediate impact on the team next season.

Philip Rivers and Jacob Eason are both set to join Jacoby Brissett in the quarterback room and Jonathan Taylor is joining Marlon Mack to bring a ferocious 1-2 punch at RB. All-Pro DeForest Buckner is ready to bring the team’s defensive line up to the top of the league. Finally, Xavier Rhodes and Julian Blackmon (when healthy) are both projected to be starters at cornerback and safety, respectively.

With that, there are likely to be a few “odd men out” on the roster, given the newfound depth at certain positions. We’ll look at three players currently on the Colts’ roster who all have one foot out of the door.
