Who will the Indianapolis Colts select in the 2020 NFL Draft?  The final Horseshoe Heroes mock of the year starts now.

This is it folks! The 2020 NFL Draft is set to begin on Thursday, which means, sadly, this will be the final mock draft of the season for Horseshoe Heroes. The good news is that now we get to see what general manager Chris Ballard has in mind, and we get to introduce a new class for the Indianapolis Colts.

Over the past several weeks, we’ve presented a multitude of scenarios for the Colts, from trading up for a quarterback, to selecting one on day three. We’ve gone corner early, and not drafted one at all. Wide receiver has been a priority in most mocks, and hopefully that comes to fruition. It’s difficult to figure out what Ballard will do with only two drafts under his belt in Indy.

We’ve got one more scenario to present before it all goes down on Thursday (or rather likely Friday for the Colts, barring a trade up). Before you take a look at the final Colts mock draft for 2020, let’s look at the trade that occurs in this mock.

Yes, this a big trade back, but with the Colts holding the 44th overall selection, it’s not as big of a trade down. Ballard has talked about acquiring more picks, and in this scenario, he picks up a couple of third round picks from Baltimore. It makes sense for both sides, as the Ravens would like to draft a couple top talents to put the team over the top. Now let’s get to the mock.
