The latest Horseshoe Heroes 2020 mock draft features the Indianapolis Colts waiting a bit to select a quarterback.

Just two weeks. There are under two weeks to go before the 2020 NFL Draft, and people are probably sick of reading mock drafts at this point in the draft process. Don’t worry, just two more mocks for the Indianapolis Colts to go after this one and it’ll be time!

It’s difficult to figure out what Colts general manager Chris Ballard will do with just seven picks at his disposal, none of which are first round picks. The good news is that their first round pick in 2020 is basically DeForest Buckner, a pretty good deal.

There are still holes on this football team, but free agency has lessened them. Ballard has beefed up the defensive line and the secondary, while adding a quarterback in Philip Rivers. Now, it’s up to Ballard to add some weapons and find a quarterback to develop.

In this mock draft, we’ll look at a late round quarterback worth developing, some wide receivers that could provide a ton of help, and more! Let’s take a look at our latest seven round mock!

Wide Receiver. MichaelPittman Jr.. 2. Pick Analysis. USC. player. 46. Scouting Report

This mock starts off with perhaps a startling selection for those casual draft fans. The Colts definitely have a need at wide receiver, and many draft experts believe that Indianapolis will find a jump ball type player that fits with Rivers. USC’s Michael Pittman Jr. can be that player, and much more.

Pittman Jr. posted a 101 catch, 1,275 yard season for the Trojans in his final season. He also reeled in 11 touchdowns. While Pittman Jr. can make plays down the field in jump ball situations, along with great adjustments to the ball, he is also a great athlete and polished route runner. He’ll be able to create separation in short areas while also being a reliable possession receiver.
