Colts 2020 Mock Draft 4.0: Post-combine seven round projection
This pick might be a little controversial, but the truth is, we don’t know how much longer Anthony Castonzo will play for the Indianapolis Colts. Finding a developmental player who can take his place long-term is a smart and savvy move, something I’d expect from Ballard.
Ben Bartch has all the makings of a future starting left tackle. He possesses excellent footwork in pass sets and rarely finds himself off-balance during reps. Bartch may be a little lighter than most left tackles nowadays, but his lower half and anchor ability make up for it. The future is bright for Bartch in the NFL.
Another wide receiver comes off the board here in round four. Quartney Davis has lost a bit of hype recently after a quiet Senior Bowl, but there are traits worth taking a chance on in the fourth round. Davis can be that short-area separator the Colts need. He snaps off in-breaking routes with ease, and is electric and tough after the catch.
Finishing up the middle rounds is Florida edge rusher Jabari Zuniga. Zuniga flashes good athleticism on tape, and that was confirmed with his combine performance. His first step can be elite at times, and he can turn the corner with bend and win with a quick inside move. Building consistency is key for him going forward, and he can do that for the Colts.
