Pick Analysis. Alabama. 13. 46. Scouting Report. WR. JerryJeudy. player

As we discussed in the opening, a lack of playmakers is a problem for the Colts right now. Someone who would fix that right away would be Jerry Jeudy. Jeudy is the next line of great receivers coming out of Alabama and has the chance to be the best one yet.

Jeudy has caught 24 touchdowns over the past two seasons, as well as recording 2,478 yards over that same time span. He caught 68 passes his sophomore year and 77 in his junior year. In his career, he averaged 17.2 yards per reception, so he is a big play threat.

The Colts did just draft Parris Campbell a year ago, but he had injury issues in his rookie year. But if he comes back healthy, he would be an excellent slot guy to play next to Jeudy and T.Y. Hilton. The offense would go from having no playmakers to a dearth of them.

Jeudy is also durable, never having missed a game for injury in his career. That is something the Colts have struggled with at the wide receiver position. There is a chance they try to sign someone in free agency instead, but Jeudy has fantastic upside. Chris Ballard should be ecstatic if he falls to 13.

For their second round picks, they might get someone who can be physical at the point of attack up front to help their defensive issues.
