Pick Analysis. K.J.Hill. 75. 46. Scouting Report. WR. Ohio State. player

Last year, the Colts drafted an Ohio State receiver in the second round in Parris Campbell. He got hurt and didn’t really impact the team. Hill is a receiver that doesn’t have those injury concerns and has been rocketing up draft boards after his great performance in the Senior Bowl.

Hill was the most consistent receiver the Buckeyes had over his career. He has great hands and is a phenomenal route runner. He caught 16 touchdowns passes over the final two seasons with them. Whatever quarterback is throwing to him will love him.

The Colts need some sort of wide receiver depth. They had so many injuries at that position a year ago that Ashton Dulin got playing time. That shows the need to have quality players at that position in case of injury. Hill would fit that mold.

Receiver is a position of need that can help turn this team around offensively in a hurry. They need guys who can be counted on consistently. Hill is a guy who can get open with his savvy route running and doesn’t rely just on his speed.

The last round of the mock draft that we will do shows the Colts getting a guy in the fourth round that has a high ceiling, but could also end up getting cut before the season starts.
