Colts vs. Jaguars: Week 17 inactives
By Ryan Stano
The Colts play their final game of the season today against the Jaguars. Here are the seven players who won’t be participating.
It’s been a long and frustrating season for the Indianapolis Colts. It’s been a season filled with injuries and disappointment. They get one last chance to taste victory as they take on the Jaguars today. They have seven players who won’t be helping them today.
Denico Autry will miss the game with a concussion. Autry was downgraded to out yesterday, so this isn’t a surprise. He had a disappointing finish to the year like most of the rest of the team. He will look forward to playing better in 2020 if the Colts decide to keep him.
Chad Kelly is inactive, which makes sense. So too is Kenny Moore. Moore has missed the last month with an ankle injury. It doesn’t make sense for him to try and play in a meaningless game. He just needs to get himself right for next season and beyond.
Jordan Wilkins is out with an ankle injury. He has battled that ankle all year long and will not get a chance to finish the season. Quincy Wilson is out with a shoulder injury, although he would only be active because of how banged up the secondary is.
Wide receiver Chad Williams is inactive too. The last inactive is Khari Willis, who will miss the final game of his rookie season with a shoulder injury. Willis had a productive year and showed that he will be the starting strong safety next year. He’s been the best rookie this year without a doubt.
We will see if the Colts can end the season with a win later today at 4:25.
