The Colts have taken a beating the last couple of months. They will try to get some momentum going into next season as they take on the Panthers.

It’s been a rough year in Indianapolis. The Colts have gotten crushed with injuries and followed that up with terrible play. Because of that, it’s been a hard season to watch for the fans. But they still have two games left to play this season to try and right the ship.

They play their final home game of the year against Carolina. This game is about nothing more than trying to end the year on a high note by getting a couple of wins. It’s also about evaluating the talent that is on this roster and seeing if they deserve to be there next year.

Carolina has had a rough year with injuries as well. Cam Newton only played in two games this year before injuries shut him down. They already fired Ron Rivera and are trying to see if their interim head coach is the answer moving forward.

The key for the Colts will be the offensive line. The offensive line has gotten pushed around badly the last couple of weeks. If they want to have any chance of winning, they will have to be better with run blocking. Marlon Mack has to get going to give Jacoby Brissett any chance.

The secondary has to play better as well. They have gotten demolished the last few weeks, especially the last two. It would be embarrassing to get carved up by Kyle Allen. Members of the secondary are fighting for their long-term future too.

dark. Next. Colts need to stay focused on this season

It will be a game that will tell us how much fight this team has left in them. Hopefully they play hard even if they don’t win.
