Colts vs. Saints: Week 15 Inactives
By Ryan Stano
The Colts are playing an absolute must-win game tonight in New Orleans. If they want to have even the chance to sniff the playoffs, they have to win tonight. Here are the inactives for that game.
The Colts were going into tonight with only one player ruled out officially. Two players were listed as questionable. Kenny Moore is the player who was ruled out, while Pierre Desir and T.Y. Hilton were listed as game-time decisions. Those two players are both active tonight though.
Hilton will be playing his first game since playing at Houston four weeks ago. He has had issues staying healthy all season long. He has been steadfast in saying that he won’t end the season on IR. Tonight he gets to play at least one more game of the 2019 season.
Desir has been hampered with a groin injury all week. He has struggled with his health this season too, having a hamstring injury that affected his ability to play and practice. But he gets to play tonight, in a game where they won’t have their best corner in Moore.
The Colts have seven inactives for tonight’s game against the Saints. Kenny Moore is one of those inactives. He and E.J. Speed are the only defensive player on this list. Chad Kelly is inactive, which isn’t a surprise. So is Le’Raven Clark, which is also expected. Jake Eldrenkamp and Chad Williams are as well.
The only surprise on this list is Ross Travis. The tight end is inactive, meaning that the team only has two healthy tight ends out there. Those tight ends would be Jack Doyle and Mo Alie-Cox. It’s a very interesting decision for a team that likes to run the ball a lot.
Having Hilton back in the lineup gives the Colts at least some kind of hope in this game. They need all the help they can get possibly get.
