The injury report was not kind to the Colts’ secondary, and it could affect their ability to win their game tomorrow. Everyone must step up if they want to win.

The injury report has been a whirlwind for the Colts this week. Some of it has been good, but some has been bad as well. The good was having Parris Campbell and Marlon Mack available to play, which is a huge boost to the offense. The bad was the listing of the secondary.

Kenny Moore will miss the game with an ankle injury. Moore is the Colts’ best overall defensive back. He is a fantastic tackler and really good in coverage. They also like to blitz Moore off the edge, so they will be missing that. He is the only secondary member to be ruled out for sure.

Two other members of the secondary are questionable for the game. Rock Ya-Sin has an ankle injury that leaves him as a game-time decision. It truly is a toss-up if he plays. Malik Hooker is the other guy who is questionable, and he has a foot injury.

Let’s say the worst case scenario happens and both of these guys are out. That would mean the secondary has three backups in there. That means that the defensive line will have to get pressure on Jameis Winston to really help them out. The linebackers will have to help with coverages too.

It will have to be a total defensive team effort if they want to stop their slide and escape Tampa with a win.
