The Colts play the Jags today in a must-win game for their playoff hopes. These are the players who won’t be participating in today’s game.

The Colts have released their seven inactives for today’s game. Some of the names are familiar, but the team will miss at least three of those players today because they play a significant role on this team. Yet they have been without those players for the last few weeks.

One of those players is T.Y. Hilton. Hilton is still out with a calf injury. He probably won’t be back in time for Thursday’s game against the Texans either. It looks more likely that he will be back in two weeks after the Colts have a mini-bye following the Thursday night game.

Another one of the inactives is another receiver, Parris Campbell. Campbell will likely be out for awhile still with his broken hand. But the Colts will miss both receivers in this game. They don’t have enough playmakers on their squad right now.

Pierre Desir is the third player they will miss badly. He misses his third straight game with a hamstring injury. The injury is clearly nagging him. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him miss Thursday’s night game too. He would be out a month by that point.

Chad Kelly is inactive, which makes sense with Jacoby Brissett back as the starter. Jordan Wilkins is out with an ankle injury, so he’s inactive too. Le’Raven Clark continues to be inactive for these games, as does Quincy Wilson. Both could be off the roster at the end of the year.

Those are the guys who will be out for today. Hopefully the Colts can get Desir and Hilton back for next week, but that might not happen either.
