The Colts already knew they were going to be without their starting quarterback. Who else won’t play today against the Dolphins?

Jacoby Brissett is one of the seven inactives for the Colts for today’s game. He is out with a knee injury, and Brian Hoyer will make his first start of the season. The Colts should still be able to win this game with him starting, even without a plethora of playmakers.

Two of those playmakers are inactive in T.Y. Hilton and Parris Campbell. Hilton has that calf injury and Campbell has a broken hand. Campbell will likely be out longer than Hilton. There’s a chance Hilton could come back in a couple of weeks.

Pierre Desir is once again inactive with his hamstring injury. He hasn’t played in the last two games because of that injury. Quincy Wilson is a healthy scratch as he has been for the last few games as well. Tyquan Lewis is also a healthy scratch.

The team is clearly done with Wilson, but it’s a shame Lewis is still inactive. He’s been hurt most of the year and has struggled to make impact play in practice. That has kept him off the field. E.J. Speed is final inactive for this game at the linebacker spot.

Because Miami is so bad, the Colts should still be able to come out on top in this one. If they don’t, there will have to be serious adjustments made on both sides of the ball. Hoyer should be able to do well enough to win.
