I already mentioned that T.Y. Hilton might not play today. If that happens, the offense takes a huge step back in terms of effectiveness. Hilton opens up the entire offense because of his speed and route running. But if he can’t go, others will have to step up.

That means Zach Pascal, Parris Campbell, and Deon Cain will have to step up. They go against an improves Steelers secondary. Pittsburgh gave up a first round pick for Minkah Fitzpatrick, who had two interceptions against his old team last Monday night.

If Hilton doesn’t play, there’s a good chance Pittsburgh focuses more on the tight ends. Jack Doyle is one of Brissett’s favorite targets on this team. Eric Ebron is always a threat too. But if Hilton is out, the other receivers have to step up to give these tight ends a chance too.

This could be a game where we see Campbell break out as a rookie. He has spent most of his rookie season hurt. But now he is fully healthy. The Colts are going to need his speed to take the top off the defense in this game. If the receivers don’t step up, this could be a loss.

This will be a tough fight for the Colts. But if they can win this game, they can further their lead in the AFC South and put themselves in better position for the AFC seeding in the playoffs.
