Quincy Wilson was drafted in the second round out of Florida back in 2017. Since that time, he has a total of 2 interceptions in his three seasons with the team. This past week against Denver, he was a healthy scratch, and that was with a starting corner out because of injury.

That shows you what the Colts think about Wilson at this point. He has had work ethic issues over the span of his career. He clearly doesn’t love football, it’s just a job for him. It could be time for the Colts to cut bait and look for a trade partner for him.

There are plenty of teams that could use cornerback depth. Houston could use some help. So could the Chiefs. But the price that the Colts would get in return for him won’t match the capital that they used to draft him in the first place.

That will likely be okay with Ballard. Ballard drafted him and missed; it’s one of the few that he has missed on. But he will be okay with getting a fifth or sixth round pick back in return. Anything they can get back for him is a win. It wouldn’t be surprising at all to see him get moved.

Number two on this list seems to have also fallen out of favor with the coaching staff despite just signing an extension in the offseason.
