The Colts don’t typically make trades in season unless they absolutely have to. But there are some candidates to get shipped out of town for the right price.

With the success the Colts are having this season, you would think that they would be buyers at the trade deadline. The deadline is tomorrow at 4pm. Several trades have already been made to buyers around the league. But the Colts are likely to not be buyers in this deadline. They might be sellers.

The reason why they would be sellers instead of buyers is because they think this team is really good. They don’t think they need another player to put them over the top. That makes sense based on how they’ve played so far this season.

The Colts also rarely trade for players in the middle of the season. They most likely won’t do it this season either. But there are some candidates to get shipped out of town. The Colts would likely be looking to get a draft pick back for any of these guys. We know how much Chris Ballard loves draft picks.

There are three guys on the current roster who are candidates to be moved to another team for a draft pick. These guys either haven’t performed well enough with the Colts, or they are in a crowded room and could do better with a change of scenery.

The first guy on this list is in the secondary, and he certainly has not performed well enough since being drafted highly.
