The next four games come against teams who have struggled this season, with the first of those being Denver this week. Can the Colts avoid an upset?

The Colts have played some good football in recent weeks. They’ve been able to win their last two games because of strong efforts of the entire team. They will be looking to do the same against a Broncos team that is offensively challenged.

On the surface, this looks like a game the Colts should win without too many issues. But Denver does have a good pass defense, and that could slow down the production of the Colts offense. Running the ball will be a big key to win the game.

Expect Frank Reich and company to give a heavy dose of Marlon Mack and the run game early and often. They need the offensive line to establish dominance in the trenches. That will eventually open up some play action pass opportunities that can be utilized on short yardage situations.

Game Prediction: Colts 24 Broncos 10

This won’t be a very high scoring affair as both defenses have done a good job this season. Denver’s offense will be worse after the recent trade of Emmanuel Sanders, so it will be even harder for them to move the ball consistently.

Expect Indy to come out focused and ready to dominate from the start. They know this stretch of games could really be beneficial to their playoff hopes, so they need to take care of business. They shouldn’t have any issues with that on Sunday.
