It will be a battle of the horses on Sunday when the Broncos come into Indy. These three matchups will be key to winning the game for the Colts.

This game on Sunday was originally going to be at 4:25pm, but it got bumped for the Houston-Oakland game. Now because it’s at 1pm, the Colts have even more of an advantage than they would before. Early games for west teams can be a problem.

But the time difference wouldn’t be the reason the Colts would win. Both teams should come in focused regardless of what time they play the game. It will be interesting to see what adjustments  the Denver offense can make after their awful showing last Thursday night.

On the Colts side, it will be interesting to see how the team responds after an emotional win over the Texans last week. Can they keep riding the momentum and beat a team they should easily handle? Those will be things to watch.

But there are three big matchups that will determine the outcome of this game. If the Colts don’t win them, they could end up on the wrong end of an upset. Some of them have to do with the interior line, and others have to do with the backend.

The first matchup has to deal with the Colts defensive line going up against a battered Denver offensive line.
