Week 8 brings the Broncos into town. It also brings in another team the Colts are favored against. Here are the numbers for your betting pleasure.

The Colts play the Broncos on Sunday after beating the Texans and claiming first place of the AFC South. They are on an upward trend, while the Broncos are on a downward trend. The betting odds reflect those trends as well, but not as much as you might think.

As of right now, the Colts are 5.5 point favorites over Denver (courtesy of the Action Network). That seems low based on how these two teams fared in their last game. The Colts beat the Texans by 7, while the Broncos lost to the Chiefs by 24.

I would take the Colts to win outright in this one. It should be at least a 7 point victory, if not more. If the spread was 7, I would have a little bit more pause as to what to do. But as always, it’s up to you which team you pick and for whatever reason you have.

The over/under for this game is 43. This is a much more tricky line to bet. I would probably take the under just because of how bad the Denver offense has looked. They can’t seem to move the ball or put points on the board with any regularity. Under seems to be the way to go.

As always, if you decide to do some legal sports betting, do so responsibly. It’d be a shame to see the Colts win but you lose all your money during the game.
