The Colts got some good news on the injury front as their starting free safety was back at practice today.

The bye week certainly helped the Colts get healthier. But they still have some players that are nursing injuries. One of those is Malik Hooker, who is coming off a torn meniscus. He was back at practice today though in a limited capacity for the first time.

I doubt that he plays this weekend, but he can’t be ruled out. It’s more likely that he plays next week. Clayton Geathers on the other hand was a full participant today, and should be good to go Sunday. They are going to need him based who else is on the injury report.

Two of those guys are in the secondary. Pierre Desir and Kenny Moore both did not practice for the second straight day. Desir has a hamstring and Moore has knee injury. Both are becoming more and more questionable on whether or not they will play.

Parris Campbell and Tyquan Lewis didn’t practice again with an ab injury and an ankle injury respectively. Neither did Eric Ebron, who was listed out with an illness. Justin Houston also did not practice today because of a calf injury. Losing him would be a big blow.

Next. Brissett has a chance to prove he's a star. dark

Zaire Franklin is the last guy on the injury report, and he was a full participant with his hamstring injury. The Colts still need a lot of these guys to be healthy by Sunday, mainly the guys in the secondary. We will keep an eye on the report tomorrow.
